The double room was quiet, included central heating, an electronic key card, and coffee/tea making equipment. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the center of the city as well as shopping area and promonade. I was surprised at nearby Cafe Scott, they had some goodies, drinks.

The Hotel was situated in the centre of the town - the owner was very plesant and helpful . There were shops and places to eat in close proximity. An excellent base for exploring the area
Only down side was no lift and only breakfast was provided - however there were plenty of places to eat nearby

This is a very pleasant hotel currently which has undergone a change in management. Currently (Aug 2012) renovation was not completely finished but at an advanced stage. Although the hotel is located in central St. Nazaire directly overlooking a large parking area, we found it very quiet at night although we sleep with windows open. The tv was one of only a few on our two-week trip (including hotels at double the price) that functioned without problems. Same goes for the shower, although not the comfort solution. Everything was completely adequate considering the price, the hotel staff very friendly and with fair knowledge of English (certainly a lot better than our French). We clearly recommend this hotel to anyone who does not need the facilities of a higher category at an adequate price.

The room was clean and proper.Hotel is not far away from the promenade and shopping mall...but then again everything is not far away in Saint Nazaire :)
The floors and carpeting of out-of-the-room spaces left a lot to be desired: quite shabby and dirty. The toilets made a lot of noise all over the hotel because they have some additional pieces attached to them that periodically crush whatever you throw in them.PLUS Noise insulation is bad.So every once in a while, day or night, you hear this awful noise not only of flushing but also of grinding. The bathroom door in our room did not close properly so it actually happened that one sat on a toilet and the door opened in the room (sorry for details). In general,if you adopt a bit of humor and decide to enjoy your vacation whatever it takes, this hotel is ok.There are not so many hotels in Saint Nazaire and I doubt that others are much better.

The hotel offered free car parking in their window but when asked where to park we were sent to the paying car park nearby which cost 10 euros for a days stay
